The Pittsburgh Steelers, Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions each won on Thanksgiving. Here's a recap of the holiday NFL action:

Pittsburgh 28, Indianapolis 7

Ben Roethlisberger threw three touchdown passes to Antonio Brown, and the Pittsburgh Steelers cruised past the Indianapolis Colts, 28-7, on Thanksgiving night. Pittsburgh (6-5) stopped Indianapolis (5-6) at the goal line on two possessions to key the victory.

The Steelers' defense limited Colts’ reserve quarterback Scott Tolzien to 205 passing yards, with one touchdown and two interceptions. Tolzien got the start in place of Andrew Luck, who sat out with a concussion.

Pittsburgh scored touchdowns on each of their first three possessions on the way to the win. Roethlisberger was 14 of 20 for 221 yards, while Brown caught five passes for 91 yards.

Le'Veon Bell carried 23 times for 120 yards for the Steelers.

Rookies Ezekiel Elliott and Dak Prescott were responsible for all four Dallas touchdowns, and the Cowboys beat the Washington Redskins, 31-26, on Thursday evening. The win was the Cowboys’ 10th consecutive victory — a franchise record.

Dallas (10-1) won even though its defense allowed Kirk Cousins to throw for 449 yards and three touchdowns for Washington (6-4-1).

With the game still in reach of the Redskins in the fourth quarter, NFL rushing leader Elliott ran for a 1-yard TD to extend the Dallas lead to 31-19. He finished with 97 yards and two scores.

Prescott was 17 of 24 for 195 yards and one touchdown for the Cowboys. He ran for a score in the fourth quarter, too.

Matt Prater kicked a 40-yard field goal as time expired, and the Lions beat the Minnesota Vikings, 16-13, on Thanksgiving Day in Detroit. With the victory, the Lions took over sole possession of first place in the NFC North.

After falling behind 13-10 early in the fourth quarter, Detroit (7-4) rallied to tie the game on Prater’s kick with 1:49 to play.

Lions cornerback Darius Slay then intercepted Sam Bradford on the ensuing drive and returned the ball to the 20-yard-line of Minnesota (6-5) with 30 seconds left. Prater’s game-winning kick sailed through the uprights two plays later.

Matthew Stafford threw for 232 yards and a score for the Lions, who have come from behind in all seven of their wins this season.

Bradford finished 31 of 37 for 224 yards, with the costly, game-changing interception.
