<p>The bad news is that many areas of the state are primed for another hot and dry summer.  Wildfire season is just around the corner, and the state and federal agencies that deal with wildfires are getting ready for it.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Firefighters, members of the <a title="Texas Forest Service" href="http://txforestservice.tamu.edu/main/article.aspx?id=12888" target="_self">Texas Forest Service</a>, and numerous volunteers were able to get the upper hand this weekend on many wildfires across our state, however, Mother Nature has another dose of dry, windy weather set for Tuesday.</p>
<p>Although some rain has fallen across parts of the state and more is expected in parts of East and Northeast Texas through Tuesday, Texas remains a tinderbox.
