The college football bowl season (also known as cozy-pants-and recliner-season) starts this Saturday, and Texas is hosting nine of these big games over the next three weeks. There are four Texas teams playing in bowl games this year.
One college has announced it's closing an East Texas location because it's not "self-sustaining," and it's effective with the end of the fall semester.
