As many of you may know - especially if you were a Suddenlink user at that point - in 2014, Suddenlink dropped several channels from their list. This list included channels such as Comedy Central, CMT, BET, MTV, Nickelodeon, TVLand, VH1, among others. These channels were carried by the company Viacom.

As a Suddenlink user myself, losing these channels was not something that I was fond of. Yes, they were replaced with other 'comparable' channels, but they just weren't quite the same as the ones that they replaced. However, life went on.

So, as I do many evenings, I was at home watching TV just the other day. You can imagine my surprise when I saw all those channels that haven't been seen in my Suddenlink list in two years suddenly popping up all over the screen!

It turns out that Suddenlink is now a part of the company Altice USA, and Altice is now restoring the once absent Viacom channels back into their lineup.

That's right, they're back! Don't believe me? Go check your channel listings yourself! I think you'll be pleased with what you see. I know that I was.
