Students at Stephen F Austin today are getting attention today as they gather in front of the Baker Pattillo Student Center to draw attention to sex-trafficking and slave labor.

Students are standing for 27 hours to draw attention to the 27 million people world wide, who are impacted by modern-day slavery.

KTRE reports there are 17,500 people in the US who are subject to things like sex trafficking, and the students say most of us don't realize how many people are oppressed.

It's not very warm outside in East Texas right now, especially in the evenings.  But the will of the students involved in the End It Movement is stronger than the elements.  Students started standing outside at the SFA Student Union building at 6 p.m. Wednesday and they'll stay there until 9 p.m. tonight.

If you want to show your support, they're taking cash, and credit card donations for the national movement, and their goal today is $2700.
