When we see the orange traffic cones go up, we know they'll slow us down and life might be easier, quicker, and smoother without them there.  But it's always worth it in the end.

The state of Texas has announced work is planned on County Road 706 in Nacogdoches County.

After concerns about erosion and accessibility, the state decided to build a new bridge outside of Nacogdoches, upgrading a current bridge to a newer model that is expected to ease traffic flow and help wider vehicles get through.  Construction may not begin until 2014, but those who have concerns about the condition of the current narrow bridge on County Road 706, can rest assured there are plans to make it wider and newer.
