See the Power Go Out During Super Bowl XLVII
A power surge at the Superdome in New Orleans knocked out a number of the lights causing play to be disrupted (sabotage by the 49ers perhaps?). The delay is expected to be up to a half hour long. Let’s hope the break doesn’t mess with anyone’s focus.
Commentators have used the downtime to speculate about how the 49ers can come back to defeat the Ravens. Twitter predictably has exploded with jokesters suggesting that it was the work of Bane from ‘The Dark Knight Rises.’ Or could the power surge have been due to Beyonce reuniting with Destiny’s Child? We’ll have more as Super Bowl PowerOutGate 2013 continues to drag on…
