Scams Keep Targeting Military Veterans

No one is immune from scams, not even the our current troops and military veterans. We’re learned that scammers don’t have a scrupulous bone in their body, so I don’t suppose we should be surprised that they don’t even spare the folks that we’re supposed to hold in the highest esteem.
Sometimes, when a soldier comes back to East Texas from serving in the Middle East, they’re milked for money.
The Better Business Bureau is aware of the scams, and they’ve dedicated an entire section of their website to the evil schemes. Would you believe as many as a hundred thousand scams have targeted the military over the past two years? Incredible.
Military members or their families might get calls talking about the importance of homecomings and family events, and then the callers request money. Sometimes it’s an investment scam.
