Robert Earl Keen Headlines 2nd Annual Summer Fest Texas
Legendary Texas Country Music entertainer Robert Earl Keen is the big draw at this year's Summer Fest Texas, tomorrow at the George H. Henderson Expo Center.
After the success of last year’s inaugural Summer Fest Texas, organizers are raising the bar this year by hosting Robert Earl Keen, a nationally famous singer and songwriter who was recently inducted into the Texas Heritage Songwriters Association Hall of Fame.
Home grown east Texas acts Dave Fenley and the Good Deal, Bryan Harkness, and Westbound 21 round out a full day of live country music, tasty barbecue, and cold beer.
Summer Fest organizers are expecting a big turnout, because the weather looks promising, and because they've been advertising all over the state in Texas Monthly and in Texas Highways, which is published by the Texas Department of Highways and Public Transportation.
