Popular Walmart Employee in Nacogdoches Passes Away

Having any job for twenty years is a pretty amazing feat.

Howard Parks held his job at Walmart in Nacogdoches for 20 years.

Howard was a sales associate in the electronics department. He was beloved by his co-workers there, and by many customers who knew him by name.  He died yesterday at the age of 50,  due to complications from sores, infection and respiratory problems.

If you've been to the Nacogdoches Walmart you may remember seeing Parks, who was bound to a wheelchair after being paralyzed in a car accident several years ago.  In fact, 32 years ago.  KTRE reports he was well-liked by his co-workers and loved his job.

Parks will be missed not only by his family, but by his co-workers and customers too. Sid Roberts Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
