Oldest City In Texas Makes ‘Top 100 Most Dangerous Cities’ List

Bruce R. Partain

Not all news is good news, and according to the Nacogdoches Police Department, the numbers are negatively skewed.  But, according to Dr. Andrew Schiller, the founder and CEO of a survey company called Location, Inc., Nacogdoches is one of the top 100 most dangerous cities to live in.

At each year’s end, the Texas Department of Public Safety, as well as the FBI receive crime reports from all police agencies statewide, and the NAC police argue that the number of aggravated assaults in 2010 was a mere 36 compared to the grandiose 274 being published, and somewhere in the transport of those numbers, an error was made.

Meanwhile, you can click here to see just where Nacogdoches ranks in that top 100 survey.
