On Tuesday afternoon, august 23rd, investigators with the Nacogdoches County Sheriff Office (NCSO) and the U.S. Marshals Service executed two felony warrants.

Investigators had received information that Ray Del Bullard, 54, was hiding out in a wooded area near Bremond Street and South Street in Nacogdoches. A warrant for Bullard's arrest for failure to comply with his sex offender registration was issued in March 2016. Sheriff's investigators and the Marshal Service searched the area and found Bullard hiding inside a tent near the railroad tracks. Bullard was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail.

Later that afternoon, investigators with the Sheriff's Office obtained information on the possible whereabouts of Juan Hernandez, 27.  He was wanted on parole violations. A warrant had been issued for his arrest by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice with the original charge being Indecency of a Child. Officers set up in the area of Blount Street and N. Pecan in unmarked vehicles. Around 3:00 pm, the suspect was observed pulling into a parking lot. The suspect was apprehended when he exited his vehicle without incident and was transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail on the parole warrant charges.
