We are almost to that time of year again...Black Friday. Actually, it should probably be referred to as Gray Thursday Afternoon/Black Friday, considering that lots of the "Black Friday Deals" start on Thanksgiving afternoon, but whatever. All I know is that people lose their minds getting up and going shopping at this point. I will admit that the deals are pretty tempting.

However, I generally go with my one Black Friday rule year after year. It hasn't failed me yet. Are you ready for this? It's pretty epic. Here we go:

  • DON'T GO SHOPPING ON BLACK FRIDAY.

There you have it. That's my tried and true method for Black Friday. If you're one of those people that's all about getting up early, or even staying up all night to take advantage of those deals, more power to you. I'm not.

There just tend to be way more people and way more madness than I care to deal with that day, especially after stuffing my face the day before. Plus, I can find similar deals online, from the same companies that are running the deals to begin with.

But, like I said before, if you're the kind of person that thrives on Black Friday shopping, go for it. Hey, maybe you've got your own set of Black Friday strategies. If that's you, let us know in the comment section below!
