For the first time since 1971, an entire generation ago, the NCAA College Basketball Tournament's Final Four is coming to Houston three weeks from now on April 2nd.

In 1971, those final games were played in the Astrodome.  This year's Final Four will be played in Reliant Stadium, just a short distance from the now dark and abandoned Astrodome.  Reliant Stadium will go from cowboy boots to basketball sneakers the weekend of April 2nd.

As the days inch closer to the big weekend business owners know this will mean big bucks.

The President of the Greater Houston Convention and Visitor's Bureau estimates this four day event will attract as many as 70 thousand people to Houston, who will spend more than a hundred million dollars while they're in town.

Houston city officials are hoping to recruit local volunteers to help make the weekend fun and safe for everybody. Anyone interested in volunteering can go to the website www.ncaa.com/finalfour
