After helping boost her Lady Roadrunners to a 5-0 start to open the new basketball season, Angelina College sophomore Natasha Mack has earned the NJCAA Division I National Player of the Week honors following a three-game stretch in which the Lufkin product averaged 25.34 points and 12 rebounds per game.

The award marks the third time Mack has been named the National Player of the Week; she earned the honor twice in her freshman season.  Thus far in 2018-2019, Mack leads Region XIV in rebounds (11.2 per game) and blocked shots (six per game) and is second in the league in scoring with a 23.6 points-per-game average.

Mack will have two years of eligibility after leaving Angelina College and she lists colleges such as Tennessee, Kansas, Oklahoma State, and Sam Houston State as finalists for her future school of choice.

Mack is the daughter of Bonnie Lee and Anthony Mack.
