Lufkin Panthers Off to a Good Start

The NFL season is just around the corner, with both the Texans and the Cowboys getting their seasons underway this Sunday, September 8th.

An how about high school football?  If you missed the score on Friday night, the Lufkin Panthers smoked the competition.  Click through, and we'll check on the Nacogdoches Dragons too as they get ready for the opener this Friday.

The Panthers cruised to a big win over John Tyler Friday night, 52 to 28.

The Nacogdoches Dragons didn't play last Friday.  They'll open the season this Friday, September 6th, at Henderson at 7:30pm.
