This car gets up there -- and not just in miles per hour.

Per the YouTube description:

Check out one of the MOST Amazing NHRA Funny Car runs in history. Cruz Pedregon's car lifted forcing him to drive in a wheelstand through the finish line. Cruz kept his composure and walked away on his own accord."

Pedregon pulled off the win over Robert Hight in the first round of the NHRA Toyota Nationals in Las Vegas on Sunday. He was zipping along at 215 miles per hour and was not hurt. The car suffered some damage. As Pedregon said, "The car's bent like a pretzel."

What was he thinking during the wheelie? “All I could see was blue sky, and it was eerily quiet. I was just a helpless passenger. I was disoriented, but my biggest fear was landing on the guardwall or maybe ending up in Robert’s lane. Coming down, I knew it was going to hurt. It all happened so fast; I consider myself a pretty decent driver and always had told my guys I could get my foot off it early if something like that happened, but honestly my foot just came off the pedal, and it was already past the point of no return."
