Heavy rain and the threat of more has prompted the National Weather Service to issue a Flash Flood Watch for all of East Texas through Tuesday morning (7 a.m.).

4 to 6 inches of rain are expected in the warned area with the possibility of higher amounts in isolated areas.  Areas to the west of Houston and down the Interstate 10 corridor have received over a foot of rain in some instances.

We will update this site to bring the latest weather, school, rainfall totals and travel information.
