It's always a big deal when Garth goes on tour. People are beside themselves trying to be the first to get tickets, using whatever means necessary to get their hands on some. If you don't believe me, just ask anyone that tried to get tickets for his two shows at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo last year.

Usually, when Garth Brooks hits the road, he's heading to huge venues, much like the rodeo mentioned above, or others similar to it. That's why it's hard for people to believe that he has played shows right here in our backyard before. That's right, he's even played the William R. Johnson Coliseum on the SFA campus before. It's been quite a few years, but it DID REALLY HAPPEN.

So, why not hope for it to happen again? I mean, Nac has seen some awesome talent descend on the city before. Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, George Strait, Gary Stewart, Diamond Rio, Blackberry Smoke, Pearl Jam, Restless Heart, Shenandoah, Cody Johnson - I could go on, but you get the point.

So, in my personal opinion, I think it'd be awesome to bring Garth back to Nac. If not into William R. Johnson Coliseum, why not Homer Bryce Stadium? He's setting up for the STADIUM TOUR, right?
