We are getting ready for night one of Free Movies In The Park (Wednesday Oct 7th) at Ellen Trout Park. We gave everyone a few helpful hints and basic rules of the night last year, so I'm just posting these tips again to make sure everyone has a good time.

Seats that are already set up in front of the screen is the VIP Area sponsored by the Law office of attorney Jim Squyers. That is the front of house. Please don't put your chairs down any further than that forward. If you have passes that is where you go. Listeners with VIP access will be front and center. You can try your luck to win some VIP badges at our website. Details to follow. Thanks to Whataburger, K&B Moonwalk, and Loving Toyota for making the main event free for the public.

It will be loud. The closer you sit to the screen, the louder the movie will be. If it's too loud for you, you might be too close. There is a playground for the kids so get there early, and give them a chance to play before the movie. Plus it will give you time to pick out the right spot for you to watch the movie. It might get chilly around 9 PM, so bring your blankets, folding chairs, jackets, and anything you can use to keep warm.

The Movies are FREE! Can't really stress that enough. Besides the movies, the kids playing in the bounce houses - that will be free too. There will also be free popcorn. Whataburger will be passing out Free Cookies and Koozies. Plus Whataguy will be there!

Show up with a few bucks in your pocket to hit the vendors. Most of vendors are selling things to raise money for charity, so your purchase might go to a good cause.
