You would typically think of flower trucks, as flower delivery vehicles. But what if you thought more about it in terms of a Food Truck. Setting up in various places around the area, giving people the opportunity to see fresh cut flowers. A relatively new endeavor, they started delivery in September.

Today (Oct. 18th 2018) the aptly named "East Texas Flower Truck" will be popping up at Bloom from 1-5pm. Bloom is a women's apparel store in downtown Lufkin. Stop in and build your own fresh cut flower bouquet.  I really like that you make your own, so you know you will love all the flowers in the arraignment. They will also be there tomorrow most of the day, from 10am-5pm. You can follow where the flower truck is going to be, just search #etxflowertruck.

The flower truck is pretty decent looking, a drop side Transport/Crafter Daihatsu Hijet vehicle that you wouldn't expect, in a light turquoise. The vehicle takes its wares all over East Texas, and the fact that it is here, is actually pretty special. I have tracked them all over Tyler, Longview, Kilgore, Gladewater, and now Lufkin. So lets let them feel welcome, and go get some flowers today!

This is really interesting to me, because just lately I started to get fresh cut flowers for the house. This was something I used to think was too expensive, but these flowers sometimes last me as long as two weeks. They smell great, and in my place, are the one thing that is dying besides me.
