Looking for something fun and FREE to do with your kids this weekend? A local non-profit organization is putting together a FUN DAY for kids and families!

With all the hectic things happening right in our own backyard, it's important to take a breath and look at the good things happening around us. Like the non-profit, Maintain The Knowledge, throwing a Family Fun day in the park. They've teamed up with Team EASSI and Impact Lufkin.

This Saturday, July 9th, from 11 AM - 2 PM, the organization will be having their first annual FUN DAY in the PARK at Jones Park, located off Kurth Drive.

Ball Out Bubble Zone will be there, along with a bouncy house for the little ones. There will be a basketball tournament, free food, and a Chinese raffle with lots of great prizes. The Lufkin Police Department will be there issuing free child safety kits as well as the Lufkin Fire Dept., giving the kids a tour of their fire truck.
