Drunk Driver Tries to Take Officer’s Taser

Want proof that some people just can't hold their liquor?  Drinking too much makes some people just go crazy.  To support that claim, we submit the following story from Longview.

The Longview News-Journal reports a Galveston County woman was arrested for drunk driving last Friday morning in Longview.

The newspaper says she was so loud and "disrespectful" they decided to put her in a holding cell to let her sober up, but she put up a fight.

She kicked one deputy in the groin and bit his hand after he shocked her with a Taser. Then she wrestled him to the floor trying to take his Taser away from him. It took several deputies to get her into the holding cell.

In addition to the DWI charge, this woman is now also charged with assaulting a public servant, and she probably doesn't even remember the trouble she caused at the jail.
