So, if you're anything like me you gave up on the Cowboys in the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Rams.  It was 21-0 and the Rams looked like they were the boss!  I thought it was going to be another one of those crazy turnover-ridden Cowboy games that frustrates fans and makes us want to drown our sorrows in more chicken wings and beer, but the Cowboys got it together and tied a record for the biggest comeback in team history.

Dallas came storming back after being 21 points down to the Rams, to win 34 to 31.  In other words, about an hour after we had the thought that the Cowboys were going to disappoint us with turnovers and miscues once again, they convinced us that they mean business this year and are not the same old Cowboys.

This is the third time in team history that the Cowboys have rallied from a 21-point deficit to win.  They did it in overtime in 1984 against New Orleans and 1999 against Washington.  This was the first time the team rallied by 21 points to win in regulation.

The Cowboys are 2-1 now and have the Saints coming up this Sunday the 28th, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.  That means who Dat Nation will be passing through East Texas on the drive over to DFW later this week, and there may be a little extra trash talking at work.

Remember last year's thrashing?  The Saints won 49-17 and had an NFL-record 40 first downs and 625 yards of offense against the Cowboys defense.  It will be another good one this Sunday.
