The documentary titled "Unlawful Killing" is based on the belief that the deaths of Diana and Dodi were not the result of their driver's negligence or the paparazzi who chased them.

Dodi's billionaire father Mohamed Al-Fayed has always blamed the royal family for his son's death.  He claims the royals conspired with the government and the media to hide the truth from the public.

When British film companies and BBC TV declined to produce a documentary exposing the alleged conspiracy, Al-Fayed decided to finance a film himself.

The movie is "in the can" and ready for release. Distribution deals have been secured in a number of European countries, and the producers say American distributors are showing interest.

Stay tuned.

The documentary was shown at the recent Cannes Film Festival and it got mixed reviews.  The  Hollywood Reporter says it's preposterous.
