We didn't know it either, but it's true.  American athletes who win medals at the Olympics also get cash awards to go with the medal.  The IRS says the medals and the cash are taxable income.

In just one more example of the way Christianity is getting kicked out of public and private life, USA Today reports a small hotel in England has taken the Gideon Bibles out of all its rooms, and you won't believe what has replaced them.

Disturbing Video Shows Kids Bullying Elderly Bus Monitor [VIDEO]

I heard Kidd Kraddick talking about this story this morning on my way to work, and my heart hurt for the woman they were talking about.

After watching this video, I am infuriated by the kids’ actions and in total shock that our youth can be so hurtful and ruthless. Indian State Declares Open Season on Poachers

A state in western India is so disgusted with tiger poachers that it has declared open season on them.  The government of the state of Maharashtra is allowing state forest guards to shoot illegal hunters on sight -- in an effort to put a stop to the rampant killing of protected wildlife, especially the dwindling population of tigers.

To make this legal, this government simply declared that killing or injuring suspected poachers is not a crime anymore.
