Hackers Steal Credit Card Info From 40 Million Target Customers

Approximately 40 million credit and debit card accounts used by Target customers may have been impacted by a major data breach, the retailer said Thursday. Customer names along with credit and debit card numbers may have been accessed, as well as the expiration date and three-digit security code on the back of each card, the store said.

East Texas Bell-Ringer Ties Record

An East Texas man tied this year's record for the longest consecutive bell-ringing streak in the Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign.

Andre Thompson of Tyler joined fellow ringers, Salvation Army Maj. Marcelino "Butch" Soriano in San Diego, and James Brickson of Albert Lea, Minnesota in the record books, by ringing for more than one hundred consecutive hours.
