Psychic Was Wrong? What a shock

A frantic search for bodies at a rural home in Liberty County turned out to be a wild goose chase.  It took only two phone calls from someone claiming to be a "psychic" to bring local, county, state and federal officers to the scene, along with dozens of news reporters, but they found nothing.

Six Mineola Swingers Club Defendants Plead Guilty, and Will Walk Free

Six of the seven defendants in the infamous Mineola child sex ring will walk out of jail free soon. In a plea bargain with Smith County prosecutors, they pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of Injury to a Child, and they'll go free because the judge gave them credit for the time they've been in jail since 2005 facing charges of sexually abusing children.

With hot summer weather getting closer every day, police and child safety experts are pleading with parents to never EVER leave their children alone in a car.  This appeal brings back terrible and painful memories in Lufkin, where a three month old baby girl died last summer in a car parked outside her father's place of work.  Her father forgot his infant daughter was in the car.
