East Coast Rocked by Earthquake, Pentagon Evacuated
An earthquake epicentered in Virginia occurred Tuesday afternoon, with people in Washington, DC, New York, Ohio, North Carolina, Massachusetts and Toronto reporting they felt the tremors, as well.
Reports thus far indicate the quake registered a 5.9 on the Richter scale, and the USGS says it’s the most powerful quake to hit Virginia since 1897.

I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm Canadian - but the behavior exemplified after Wednesday night's hockey game makes me a little embarrassed to admit that I lived in Vancouver for over five years.
After a historic win on enemy territory, the Boston Bruins became the 2011 Stanley Cup Champions, defeating the Vancouver Canucks 4-0 in game seven on Wednesday night.
The crowd erupted minutes after the win in a malicious manner - smashing windows, looting and torching police cars, dumpsters and anything else in their sight on the downtown streets.
The Last Ride – Space Shuttle Endeavour in Space for the Last Time [VIDEO]
The space shuttle Endeavour launched right on schedule Monday morning, making its final flight into space, to deliver a key piece of scientific equipment to the International Space Station.
Shortly before liftoff Endeavour’s commander Mark Kelly, whose wife Gabrielle Giffords watched the launch at Kennedy Space Center, said the flight represented the best of America and humanity.
