Barbara Walters Chooses Steve Jobs as Her ‘Most Fascinating Person’ of 2011 [VIDEO]

Barbara Walters has named her Most Fascinating Person of 2011: Steve Jobs.

While her policy has always been to choose only living people for the annual roundup, Walters said that when Jobs retired as CEO of Apple last summer, she knew he’d be her pick to top the list. And even after his death on October 5, Walters stuck to her choice because, much like Jobs believed, “rules were made to be broken.”

Ouch! Rick Perry is Now More Hated on YouTube Than Rebecca Black [VIDEOS]

A new Rick Perry ad in which the Texas governor and presidential hopeful laments that gays can serve openly in the military but kids can’t pray in school hasn’t recieved the YouTube reception his campaing was hoping for.

In fact, in just three days Perry’s “Stronger” spot amassed almost twice as many dislikes on the video sharing site as Rebecca Black‘s spectacularly maligned ‘Friday’ video has since September 16.

Oops. Our Bad. Mythbusters’ Cannonball Stunt Hits Houses — Where People Live

The hosts of the popular Discovery Channel cable TV show "Myth-Busters" have some explaining to do.  One of their stunts went very awry, to say the least.

They fired a cannonball at a set of targets, but it missed and went on to hit two houses and a car in a neighborhood on the other side of a nearby hill.

"SFA is goin' to London, but not to ride the ponies."  It's true.  No less than Queen Elizabeth II of England herself has invited the Stephen F. Austin State University Marching Band to march in London's 2013 New Year's Day Parade.

New Earth & Space Planetarium in Tyler

East Texans don't have to drive to Houston to see a planetarium show any more.  Tyler Junior College has completed a major expansion of its well known  Hudnall Planetarium, which has allowed East Texans to get a glimpse of outer space for more than 40 years.
