As The Weather Gets Cooler, Sales Heat Up On These Items

Some of the big sale items are obvious right now.  As the weather gets a little bit cooler and fall finally arrives, prices drop on lawn mowers and patio furniture.  But there are some other hidden deals that you might want to take advantage of.

Maybe you've been seeing the emails, asking for clicks to save money on things that are going out of season.  Patio furniture is 30-40 percent off, or more in some cases, and grills and lawnmowers are on sale too.  So we snatch up that stuff and feel great about the deal, until we realize it will be about seven months before we'll really get full use out of it.

If you don't mind delayed joy, it's also a good time to buy these things, according to Consumer Reports.

Snow blowers?  Unless you're blowing fake snow, you might not need that in Texas. But we have Chip and Joanna Gaines here to inspire us, so we're always up for painting the house.
