This would be a great week for a trip to Yellowstone National Park, because admission is free for another six days.  How often does that happen?!  Actually, it happens on nine different days this year.

There are some great parks around Texas too, that will be letting you in free this week to celebrate National Park Week.

The National Park Service turns 100 this year, and they're waiving entry fees between now and April 24th.  TIME Magazine says it's a joint effort by the NPS and National Park Foundation, and there are four participating parks in Texas.

The National Park Service has also launched a "Find Your Park" campaign that helps you track down events and share experiences at the parks.

Parks are a great place to hike, picnic, climb, see some history, and get some great new pics for your social media pages.  Check them out this spring before it gets too hot!  Have fun.
