Actor & Comedian Robin Williams Dead at 63 by Suspected Suicide

Variety.com reports that beloved actor and comedian Robin Williams was found dead in his home on Monday, August 11. The cause of death is believed to be suicide via asphyxiation, reports the Marin County Coroner's Office.

Williams had been battling depression as of late, and recently entered a 12-step program to battle drug abuse.

His wife Susan Schneider said in a statement, “I am utterly heartbroken. On behalf of Robin’s family, we are asking for privacy during our time of profound grief. As he is remembered, it is our hope the focus will not be on Robin’s death, but on the countless moments of joy and laughter he gave to millions.”

We can't say enough good things about Mr. Williams' work on stage and screen. He is survived by his wife and three children.
