Angelina Chamber CEO Jerry Huffman says “The expo party is an event that we’ve been hosting as long as we’ve had the exposition center open, as a fundraiser for the center."  Huffman says "It’s just a way for us to have a lot of folks come out and have a great time and make a few dollars for the operation of the center."

The event includes a steak dinner, door prizes, raffles, a silent auction and a live auction.  There are also special auctions for ladies and raffles for the men, including a gun raffle.

The Expo Anniversary Party is an annual event that raises money for maintenance and upkeep of the Exposition Center.  Tickets cost $50 dollars per person, or $500 for a corporate table of eight.  They're available at the Chamber of Commerce office on South Chestnut at the Loop.
