Kyle Lowry had 35 points and nine assists, and the Raptors routed the Miami Heat, 116-89, in Game 7 of the teams’ best-of-seven Eastern Conference semifinals series in Toronto on Sunday. The convincing victory in the contentious series sent the Raptors to their first Eastern Conference finals in the history of the franchise.

Up eight points heading into the fourth quarter, Toronto used a 30-11 fourth-quarter run to put the game — and the series — away. DeMar DeRozan netted 28 points for the Raptors. Bismack Biyombo added 17 points and 16 rebounds.

Toronto will face Cleveland for the right to go to the 2016 NBA Finals. That series will start on Tuesday.

Dwyane Wade and Goran Dragic each had 16 points for Miami in defeat.
